Whether your dog is 10 pounds or 100, it’s no fun when he/she drags you down the street, jumps up on guests, barks at everything that moves, or worse! DRAMA DOG builds good behavior by strengthening your relationship with your dog.
Common Behavior Problems:
Begging
Bolting
Chasing cars/bikes
Counter-surfing (stealing food)
Digging
Excessive Barking
Housetraining
Inappropriate Chewing
Jumping (on people, on furniture)
Nipping and Mouthing
Reacting/aggression to other dogs
Stool Eating
Unruly behavior in the house
SELF-REWARDING BEHAVIOR
These problems mostly arise from entirely natural doggie behaviors being used in a human environment. In addition, most of them are what are called “self-rewarding” – things the dog enjoys or gets some satisfaction out of doing. In order to control or eliminate these bad habits, we must replace them with good habits – things that he or she will be rewarded for doing. So, the first step in controlling unwanted problem behavior is OBEDIENCE TRAINING. This can be taken in Group Lessons or One-on-One lessons. For severe behavioral problems One-on-One lessons in the home are recommended.
